Junk Drawer Race 2023

St Paul CES grade 5/6 PACE class led by Mr Albanese participated in the Annual Junk Drawer Races.  Students were required to design and build a rubber bands powered cardboard car made from paper products and either toothpicks or wood skewers sticks.  Judges made their decisions on distance and speed.

Carnaval de St. Paul

From February 13th till February 17th, students will enjoy a variety of activities such as spirit days, gym assemblies, bingo games, friendly competitions / contests, guessing games and a Snow Valley tubing trip for grades 4 to 8.  In addition, Carnaval will use a digital approach to bring cinema to the classrooms this year.  Students will have the opportunity to watch two feature films in ... Dwayne Morgan – Outstanding Black Men in Canada 2022

St Paul CES is pleased to have Mr Dwayne Morgan speak to our students on February 8th 2023.

Mr Morgan made the 2022 Shifter Magazine list  of outstanding Black men in Canada, while also winning the Toronto Arts Foundation’s Celebration of Cultural Life award.  In 2013, he was inducted into the Scarborough Walk of Fame.  Mr Morgan has received both the African Canadian ... On Tuesday, February 7th, 2023 the grade 4-6 classes have been invited to experience “Black History: The Music and the Message” at the Newmarket Theatre.
