2024 Lenten Mass

On March 21, 2024 the York Catholic District School Board celebrated the third annual board-wide Lenten Mass of Renewal and Reconciliation. Livestreamed to the board’s 50,000 students, the Mass featured the talented students of St Edward Catholic Elementary School and St Brother Andre Catholic High School, in Markham, who performed the music and helped with the readings.

PINK Shirt Day

The founding principles of PINK Shirt Day is important because children were responsible for making a difference. In our PINK Shirt Day assembly led by our Healthy School Student Ambassadors the message of KINDNESS will be strong!  We are encouraged to practice kindness and wear PINK on Wednesday, February 28th to show that we do not tolerate any form of bullying.

Grade 8 PATHWAYS

As a way to explore and promote the skilled trades as well as develop transferable skills,  grade 8 students participated in a hands-on workshop in their Pathways and Careers class.  Students worked in pairs to wire a three-pronged electrical receptacle (no electricity involved), by using various tools.

This is one of many ways students participate in Experiential Learning @YCDSB. @PathwaysYCDSB

Carnaval d’Hiver

February is an exciting month at St. Paul’s school. It is the month of “Carnaval d’Hiver.”
